About: Founder, Harry

College, 2017: I sold my first item on Depop for £6 - some old topman jeans. First lesson made, fees and delivery cost money. I think I made around £1.50 but it was thrilling nonetheless. My friend Harry - ’28 Vintage’ (yes, we are both called Harry), was selling his old stuff too and asked if I wanted 1/2 a vintage box for £100 each. Using our part time hospitality jobs, we scraped the money together and took the plunge. Looking back, it was full of crap, but we split the stock and sold them on our Depop pages and just about made breakeven.

Uni, 2018: Harry and I went off to different Uni’s but continued our journeys separately. I feel this is where my passion really grew as I gained a better understanding of sourcing products that I liked to wear myself.

Internship, 2020: I thought this is where my vintage side hustle would end for a ‘proper’ job at a big corporation. This experience was a blessing as I realised my whole post-graduate thesis was was off - absolutely no chance of going back to that company. I realised I need to try and make a go of this vintage business.

Graduate, 2022: I move the business out my bedroom and into a unit, investing in a new stock, camera and studio equipment - no going back now.

Now, 2023: Here we are! I am in a new unit now (old one wasn’t water-tight), and I’m ready to kick on. Thanks to everyone on this journey so far!
